Golden Giants roll in game one

Hitting the road the day after suffering its first loss of the season, the Junction City Brigade (4-1) bounced back with a 10-5 victory over the Liberty Monarchs (4-1) in Liberty, Mo. on Tuesday night.
After falling to Liberty by a score of 11-3 on Monday night at Rathert Stadium, Junction City put forward a complete reversal of that game, adding seven more runs and getting more hits.
Sophomore pitcher Josh Mapel received his second start of the season on the mound for the Brigade on Tuesday. He provided two innings of pitching before being replaced by freshman Joseph Flood. Brigade head coach Seth Wheeler offered an evaluation of his pitchers so far this season.
