Call For Interest - FNB Treasurer
Date: Sep 15, 2017

Football New Brunswick (FNB) is pleased to announce the hiring of Emma Hicks as Program Director.
Emma Hicks comes to FNB most recently after holding the position of Regional Services Coordinator with the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic. Prior to that, she spent 3.5 years in Saskatchewan where she gained experience as Female Football Development Director with Football Saskatchewan, with the primary task of establishing a Girls High School Flag Football League in Regina, and also worked with I Can Play Sports and Girls in the Game. Emma served as Senior Director of Health, Fitness, and Membership at the YMCA of Regina (East) where she took a lead role in a physical literacy programming initiative. Emma holds her BSc Kinesiology, PGCert Sport and Exercise Science, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Emma competed as a linebacker with the Canadian national women’s team at the second-ever IFAF World Women’s Football Championships in 2013, where the team brought home silver. She also competed with the Regina Riot of the Western Women's Canadian Football League (WWCFL) as well as the Capital Area Lady Gladiators of the Maritime Women's Football League. Emma has since gone on to pursue coaching, having coached with the Regina Riot, F.W. Johnson Collegiate High School, Team NB Senior Women, and currently with the Team NB U15 program. Emma has also held the position of President of the WWCFL and General Manager of the Regina Riot.
Emma will begin working April 3, 2017. Her role as Program Director will be primarily involved with helping the minor associations with the management and administration of their programs. This position will help build grassroots programs, take some of the work load off of our hard-working volunteers and help grow football in the province of New Brunswick.
