Football New Brunswick (FNB) is pleased to announce the roster for the Under 18 Female Flag Provincial team! The U18 Female Flag team will be competing at Nationals in Vancouver from August 10-13.

The 10 players all come from the NB Junior Girls Football League which is a girls tackle league that plays in the Fall. Head Coach Tracey Barker is thrilled with how the team is coming together considering most are rivals in the Fall. "Over the past few weeks we have seen them develop their skills and see them motivate one another to excel. Within the group we have two sets of players that come from different teams during the Fall football season and it always amazes me to see how well competitors come together for a common goal. I cannot wait to see them hit the field together!"

This is the first time New Brunswick has sent a female flag team to Nationals! FNB hopes that this will show other girls in NB that football can be their sport of choice and that there are opportunities that can take you across the country and around the world!
