Football New Brunswick (FNB) is pleased to announce the selection of Michael Mangusso as the Under 15 Provincial Team Head Coach. Michael lives in Quispamsis and has been a committed coach and student of the game for several years. He has experience coaching at various age levels and positions. He has coached in Fundy Minor Football for 7 years at the Peewee and Bantam level. He also served as a position coach on FNB’s U16 and U17 provincial teams in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 he was selected to head coach the Kennebecasis Valley High School varsity football team.

Michael has a commitment and passion for football and has a hunger to continue to learn and get better.   He has an extensive resume of NCCP training and uses his network of coaches to continue to share and learn about the game. “The off-season is a coach’s time to better himself.  If I expect my players to get better, I would hope they would expect me to get better as well” he says.

“I would like to thank FNB for selecting me as their head coach of the U15 Provincial team. I am very excited to have the opportunity to coach and lead the U15 Provincial team.  As I embark on this journey, I am looking forward to working with the many great coach’s and football players we have in our great province of New Brunswick.“

The U15 team will participate in the Spalding Cup from July 8-16 in Montreal, Quebec. The Spalding Cup is a regional tournament hosted annually by Football Quebec. The U15 program is open to players born in 2003 and 2004.
