The Southern Oregon Spartans of the WSHL are pleased to announce that DREW CARRIERE has agreed to attend Dakota College at Bottineau to continue his education and play college hockey. Carriere played for the Spartans in 2014/15 and the 2015/16 season. A 6’3” 220lb, center Drew played 104 games, scored 43 goals, had 76 assists for 119 points and 79 PIM as a Spartan. Drew Carriere is a true big man by hockey standards and he provided both physicality and offensive production on a nightly basis. A true fan favorite at the “Madhouse” Drew brought the fans to their feet many nights. Carriere was the 2016 award winner of the prestigious Patrick McIntire Award. The Spartans are proud of Drew and wish him success! Spartan Proud!
