BREAKING NEWS:
The Spartans are excited to welcome Lawrence “Sach” Sacharuk as the new assistant coach /consultant for the program. Sach still holds the record for most goals by a defenseman (50) in the Western Hockey League set in the 1971-72 season with the Saskatoon Blades. Sach played in the NHL for the New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues. While playing for St.Louis he became the 4th Defenceman in NHL history to score 20 goals in a single season before having his NHL career cut short after taking a slap shot to the eye.

Sach brings six years of professional coaching experience from overseas, and is excited with the opportunity to help young players make it to the next level.
