The Southern Oregon Spartans are pleased to announce that Clint Malarchuk has agreed to join the team as the goaltending coach for the 2016/17 season.  A 16 year professional career as a goaltender in the NHL with the Quebec Nordiques, the Washington Capitals and the Buffalo Sabres as well as a coach professionally at the NHL , IHL and WCHL levels.  Clint brings a wealth of experience to the Spartans and will be a welcomed addition to the team and the Spartan organization.  Clint Malarchuk brings much more than the hockey element to the table for the Spartans.  Clint brings life experience that he can relate so well to young student athletes and help them in many ways on and off the ice.  Welcome to the Spartan Organization Clint.  Spartan Proud!
