Jordan Hofer brought home the winning run to give the Sioux Falls Pilots the lead in the sixth inning, as the Sioux Falls Pilots hung on to beat Bancroft Bandits 5-1 on Saturday.

• Tyler Field racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Sioux Falls Pilots. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.
• Bancroft Bandits had no answer for Joey Cardamon, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Bancroft Bandits managed just one hit off of Cardamon, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out four during his 6 2/3 innings of work.
• Max V ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed two runs.
• Bancroft Bandits scored its only run of the game on a passed ball in the second inning.
