The Pilot utility specialist and only graduated senior, Pat Fiala, keeps flying as he moves onto play for the Sioux Falls Canaries. Fiala spent the summer trying out for independent teams all over the country while playing enough games for the Pilots to become a Corn Belt League All-Star. 

Fiala graduated from Augustana University last spring while having a very productive season for the Vikings. He earned Second-Team All NSIC and a Gold Glove at second base.
