                                                                                Press Release

In what has turned out to be an eventful off season, the Vermilion Tigers have found a new Head Coach for the upcoming 2016-2017 campaign. Ryan Earl who has previously coached in the NAJBHL with the Lloydminster Bandits will assume the role of Head Coach, for the recently departed Durwin Selte.

Earl who was a defenseman in the league dating back to the mid-90’s won a league title 3 times, provincial crown twice and a western championship while playing for the Bandits. Earl will bring a fresh perspective to this group that has missed the playoffs two consecutive years.

Ryan has been coaching in the Kitscoty Minor Hockey system of late and is excited for the opportunity. Earl has had an opportunity to speak with a few of the players and is looking forward to touching base with more returnees as the summer progresses. The recruitment process is well under way and the Tigers are excited to see what develops from training camp come September.
