- The Sioux Falls Pilots scored in the first on a single by Colton Cosner, a groundout by Trevin Stephens, an RBI double by Patrick Fiala, an RBI single by Connor Merriam, and an error.
- Fiala racked up two RBIs on three hits Sunday.
- Ryne Lees got the win on the mound. He pitched five shutout innings. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered six hits.
- Carlos P ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in eight innings, walked two and struck out seven.
- The Sioux Falls Pilots piled on two more runs in the bottom of the second. A single by Fiala ignited the offense,, bringing home Stephens.
- Some leftover fireworks were provided by Tyler Field in the third inning as he cranked a solo home run. \
