The Sioux Falls Pilots Fend Off The Bancroft Bandits's Late Push, Hold On 3-2

  • The Bancroft Bandits were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Sioux Falls Pilots on Friday, as the Bandits fell 3-2 at Bancroft, IA after falling behind by two runs in the seventh inning.
  • Bancroft Bandits scored one run in the ninth on an RBI single by Bryant Perdomo. Michael Takamori struck out the final hitter with the tying run on second and the winning run on first.
  • Ethan Kenkel brought the heat against the Bancroft Bandits during his outing. The Bandits managed just three hits off of the Sioux Falls Pilots' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one, and struck out three during his six innings of work.
  • Luis Ramos was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted seven innings, walked four, struck out 12, and allowed three runs.
