The Baltimore Redbirds (17-5) blew out the Rockville Express (6-17) 9-1 on Saturday at Calvert Hall HS after pouring on eight runs in the fourth inning.

The Baltimore Redbirds scored in the fourth on a two-run single by Ryan Sloniger, a two-run triple by DJ Miller, an RBI single by Utah Jones, and a three-run double by Cameron Simmons.

The Rockville Express were ahead early but they ultimately surrendered the lead for good. The Rockville Express led until the fourth inning, but the Baltimore Redbirds took the lead back on a two-run single by Sloniger.

Simmons racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Baltimore Redbirds.

Hunter Parsons's eight strikeouts helped the Baltimore Redbirds to the victory. Parsons allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over five innings.

Brian Rourke (0-4) took the loss for the Rockville Express. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked four and struck out none.
