Tenney leads AURORA to shutout victory over BARRIE

AURORA used a sparkling performance by Frances Tenney to take down BARRIE, as the netminder did not allow a goal in AURORA's 2-0 shutout victory.

AURORA's penalty kill excelled, as AURORA gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

AURORA was led by Mia Rogers, who finished with one goal. Rogers scored 6:44 into the third period to make the score 1-0 AURORA. Kate Barber provided the assist.

AURORA stifled BARRIE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

AURORA also got a goal from Nicole Shaw as well. In addition, AURORA received assists from Julia Giannitsopoulos, Hannah Daniels, and Madison Heeney, who each chipped in one.

Tenney rejected 26 shots on goal for AURORA. AURORA incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. BARRIE's Julia Borrelli (PU) stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that she faced. BARRIE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
