Victor defeats Thomas 3-2 in the 2016 Section V Hockey Class BB championship game.  Thomas scored the first goal of the game from N. Thompson assisted from T. Cooligan at 6:34 in the first period.  Victor quickly responded with a goal from M. Rydzynski assisted from M. Lambert at 7:32 of the first period.  Then in the 2nd period Victor scored two goals and both were scored by P. Manning who was assisted by B. Manning at 12:17 of the second period and was assisted from B. Cary and B. Manning on the Power Play at 14:05 of the 2nd period and assisted by B. Cary.  Thomas came back and scored at 11:19 of the third period by C. Horan assisted by I. LaCroix and A. Phelps.  The shots were 45 Thomas to 19 Victor.  Goalie C. Ierlan of Victor was given MVP of the game for stopping 43/45 shots.  

They will face Notre Dame of Batavia to determine who gets to stay home or travel for their regional games in states.  Winner of the match-up will face Skaneates at home and loser will travel to Section I to play Pelham.  Section V won the lottery so we will have two Division 2 teams represented in states this year!
