Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Midget Red battled back to claim a 10-9 victory over Midget Orange.
Midget Red took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Jack Henry Boyden at 7:20 in the 1st quarter. Midget Red found itself down 9-7 after Midget Orange's Oliver Beckett put the ball home at 18:01 in the 2nd quarter. After knotting things up at 9-9 on a goal by Zachary Young at 23:13 in the 2nd, Midget Red got the game-winner from Jack Travassos at 23:57 in the 2nd quarter.
The teams traded the lead six times. Midget Orange took its last lead at 15:45 in the 2nd on a goal by Jacob Martino to make the score 8-7 Midget Orange.
Midget Red additionally got points from Boyden, who also registered one goal and one assist, Dyson Williams, who also registered three goals and one assist, Travassos, who also registered two goals and one assist and Ap Player, who also registered one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Midget Red were Liam Sanderson, who had two and Jake Dithurbide, Bryce Thompson and Troy Holowchuk, who contributed one apiece.

Midget Red's starting goalie, Holowchuk, made 16 saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Sanderson, who stopped 10 shots. Samuel Haines took the loss and made 14 saves before being replaced by Cory Campbell who made 11 saves. Both Midget Red and Midget Orange won zero faceoffs. Player led Midget Red with zero wins and Player won zero for Midget Orange.
