Oakville, ON – The Toronto Rock Athletic Centre will be alive with action again this fall as registration is open for the Rock Elite Development League (Tyke to Peewee) and the Rock Elite League (Bantam to Junior).  All players receive instruction and coaching from NLL pros that is second to none in the province.

Over the weekend, the annual Jr. NLL tournament took place at the TRAC with players from across North America competing.  Peewee to Midget aged players participating in the REL/REDL have the unique opportunity to be selected to represent the Toronto Rock at the Jr. NLL Tournament held each August.

“The Rock Elite League really does provide so many one-of-a-kind opportunities,” said TRAC Owner Jamie Dawick.  “No where else can you be coached by NLL players, play by NLL rules and raise the level of your game to new heights throughout the winter.  To top it off, the opportunity to be selected to play for the Jr. Rock at the Jr. NLL tournament is an extraordinary chance to compete against some of the best players on the continent.”

This year’s Jr. NLL Tournament was the largest in the five-year history of the event.  All nine NLL teams were represented for the first time ever and there was also representation from former NLL cities with players from Edmonton and Philadelphia competing.  In total, 32 teams competed over the three-day tournament at the TRAC and Glen Abbey Community Centre in Oakville, ON.

The REL features weekly games from September to March for players born between 1997 and 2005 inclusive.  The games are officiated by NLL referees and are played under NLL rules. REL tryouts will begin the week of September 11th with regular season games getting underway the week of September 25th.  Click here to register and for more information.

The newly expanded Rock Elite Development League will run on Sundays from September 24th to November 26th.  Budding Rock star Challen Rogers will lead the nine-week program with instruction also coming from his Rock teammates.  The REDL is open to players born between 2006 and 2011 inclusive.  Space is limited, please click here to register and for more information.
