The Port Huron Prowlers are coming off of two wins in three games over the Danville Dashers.
But if the Prowlers falter this week, those wins won't mean much at all. The Prowlers will begin a stretch of four games in four nights Thursday that could prove key at the end of the season.
The Prowlers (21-3-0-11) will host the Danbury Titans (22-3-2-11) for a pair of games Thursday and Friday night at McMorran Arena and then travel to Danville to face the Dashers on Saturday and Sunday night.
"We have to keep it simple," Prowlers coach Trevor Karasiewicz said. "We have four in four. We have to limit our turnovers and we need 18 guys pulling on that same rope in the same reaction.
"We are fortunate that the guys we have found have come in and jelled quickly. We have found the right guys and they are going out and having fun."
The Prowlers are off to a good start this weekend with a pair of victories over Danbury. But it won't be easy. The Titans have played the Prowlers tough throughout the season and will be at their best this weekend.
