Danbury Titans Announce Rookie Camp

Date:  Source: Federal Hockey League

Danbury, CT - The Danbury Titans are announcing a rookie camp which will be held in the middle to late October. Exact dates and times are pending but will be announced soon.

This camp is geared towards rookies who are looking to break into professional hockey. The camp will feature three days of practices and scrimmages in front of Danbury Titans Head Coach Dave Lun and staff for evaluation. At the end of the rookie camp a number of camp participants will be invited to main training camp where they will compete for a spot on the opening night roster.

"This is a great opportunity for young players", commented Coach Lun. "Many of these guys have never had the opportunity to showcase their talents to professional head coaches. This is a great chance for them to show me and the staff their abilities as hockey players and to earn a spot in training camp".

The camp will have a fee which goes directly towards the player's lodging, meals, and ice time. Players will be responsible for getting to and from Danbury as well as all equipment needs. "I went through some of these camps in my pro career. They gave me the springboard I needed to earn a spot on a team and have a professional career", continued Dave Lun.

Please note that this camp will be selective and has a certain number of spots available. If you would like to be considered for the camp please email a hockey resume to c.hoeler@danburytitans.com. If you or a player agent have any questions please email Chris Hoeler at the previously mentioned email address or call 203-942-2003.
