The Merchants are excited to announce that they are proud members of the newly formed CornBelt Summer Collegiate Baseball League. The season will kick-off June 1st as the team travels to Clarinda, IA to take on the always strong A's, then on June 3rd the Merchants host Sioux Falls Pilots for their home opener.

The Merchants will be skippered by Harley Thompson who coaches at DMACC and Luis Abreu, a former pro player, who is also an international scout for the Baltimore Orioles.

The Merchants are excited about the upcoming season and look forward to becoming a team the city of Carroll, and surrounding area will be proud of and look forward to representing them throughout the summer.
