Bishop McCort had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Serra Catholic.

Bishop McCort was sparked by Brett Seitz, who finished with one goal and one assist. Seitz scored on the power play 15:41 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Bishop McCort. Bishop McCort had gotten the advantage when Serra Catholic's Michael Ulishney was sent off for roughing. Christopher Miller assisted on the tally.

Bishop McCort managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Bishop McCort finished below its season average of 8.0 penalty minutes per game. Serra Catholic was unable to stop Bishop McCort from sending pucks towards the net, and Bishop McCort eventually piled up 68 shots on goal.

Bishop McCort also got points from Connor Bunn, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points and Tristan Mock, who also had one goal and one assist. Bishop McCort also got a goal from Alexander Templin as well. More assists for Bishop McCort came via Anthony Formica, who had two and Zachary Goins and Colin Turnbull, who contributed one each.

Serra Catholic did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Serra Catholic puts an average of 8.5 pucks into the net per game. Serra Catholic did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 12 shots on net to force 11 saves.

Serra Catholic was led by Thomas Werner, who scored the team's only goal. Werner scored 9:35 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Jacob Weiss picked up the assist.

Bishop McCort's John Bradley stopped 11 shots out of the 12 that he faced. Bishop McCort registered one goal on six power play opportunities. Tyrik Barkley made 63 saves for Serra Catholic on 68 shots. Serra Catholic incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
