Brandon Luff netted a hat trick to lead Blackhawk - JV over Butler two - JV, 4-1.

Luff's first goal came 3:03 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:46 into the third and at 12:32 into the third.

Blackhawk - JV's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Butler two - JV power plays. Blackhawk - JV forced Butler two - JV goalie Nicholas Grosch to work between the pipes, taking 47 shots.
