Hampton's Daniel White scored 1:51 into overtime to beat Hempfield, 4-3 (OT).
Hampton came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Hampton trailed 2-0 after a goal by Hempfield's Luke Rosendale at 7:14 in the second period. Hampton knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Jae Young Jan at 16:54 in the third period.
Hampton was led by White, who registered one goal.
Hampton kept Hempfield's goalie busy throughout the game, and Chris Negich made 35 saves on 39 shots.
Hampton also got points from Luke Cirlingione, who also had one goal and one assist. Justin Weinbrenner also scored for Hampton. Other players who recorded assists for Hampton were Justin Adamski, who had three and William Meglio and Daniel Grob, who each chipped in one.
Hempfield excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.
