Championship Sunday is Set!
Date: Aug 23, 2019
On Saturday, Aug. 22, the best players of the Metro League will be on display at the NYCMBL All-Star game, which will be held at Provident Bank Park (home of the Rockland Boulders) in Pomona, N.Y.
The day will kick off at 9:30 a.m. when the Single-A All-Stars take the field for a 9-inning contest. The Single-A All-Star game will be followed by the annual Home Run Derby and the Double-A game, which is set to start at 2 p.m.
While admission to the NYCMBL portion of the festivities is free, the purchase of a discounted $20 ticket will allow fans the chance to stick around after the Double-A game to watch the Boulders of the Can-Am League take on the Garden State Grays at 6:35 p.m. Prior to the start of the Boulders' game, all ticket-holders will be invited to participate in a complimentary picnic in the reserved Bud Light Bridge Bar section down the left field line. Every All-Star will receive a free ticket to both the picinic and the Boulders game.
The team that purchases the most tickets will also receive free beer vouchers.
Provident Bank Park is one of the most family-friendly ballparks on the east coast, with indoor batting cages and a playground beyond the right field fence.
