The Maple City Brewers have finished first in the Essex League, after 2 convincing wins over the Riverside Royals on Sunday. The Brewers currently sit at 15-3 and are out of reach atop the standings.

The Brewers earn a first round bye for the playoffs, which are a best of three series format. Dates and times for playoff games will be announced as they are scheduled.

Maple City is vying for it's first Essex League crown since 2007.
