BOSTON, Mass. -- Jon Ruiz's name and picture have made constant appearances on the EHL website this spring, which is a reflection of his hard work over the last three years. The Williamstown, N.J., native arrived in West Chester, Pa., three years ago to pursue an NCAA student-athlete opportunity and he exits the EHL and the Junior Flyers program with a host of individual hardware and a spot at Johnson & Wales for 2015-16.
With 36 goals during the 2014-15 season Ruiz not only led the EHL but pushed his career total to 73. Big goals have also been his specialty as he tied for the league lead in game-winners with seven and finished his EHL career with 13. Ruiz also led the league in points this year with 67.
