Three third period goals yesterday gave the Northern Cyclones a 3-1 victory over the final pool play game of the USA Hockey Tier III National Championship. The victory put the Cyclones into a three-way tie with the North Iowa Bulls and Granite City Lumberjacks, but tiebreaking criteria advanced the Cyclones and the Bulls to today's 4pm championship contest.
The Cyclones will be attemptin to avenge a 3-1 tournament-opening loss to the Bulls while tryign to bring home the USA Hockey hardware.
