Northern Cyclones to Play For National Championship Today
Date: Mar 29, 2015
BOSTON, Mass. -- Walpole's Frankie Cefalu, who is a NCAA Division I commit (New Hampshire - Hockey East), captured his second straight EHL assist title by putting up the exact same number of helpers -- 46 -- as his league-leading total from last year. In 2014-15 he almost doubled his goal output and his 17-46-63 totals ranked him second in points this year, while leading Walpole to a Boston Division title.
The 1995 birth year player from Buffalo, N.Y., easily eclipsed the 100-point mark for his EHL career in his second season and his totals stand at 26-92-118 (1.37 ppg). Most importantly Cefalu arrived in Walpole without NCAA plans and he'll be leaving the league with a coveted Division I offer.
