DECATUR, Ill. - The Decatur Blaze led from start to finish, beating the Soo Firehawks 7-1 tonight at the Decatur Civic Center.
Anthony Laaksonen (pictured) scored the Soo's lone goal and goalie Mackenzie Bruce finished with 36 saves.
Luka Znidarsic scored three goals for the Blaze and Matt Hatcher made 35 saves for the Blaze.
The two teams wrap their weekend series Sunday at 12:30 p.m. EDT.
