DECATUR, Ill. -- The visiting Soo Firehawks topped the Decatur Blaze 3-1 Friday night at the Decatur Civic Center as Soo goalie Cody Call (pictured) made 50 saves.
Dustin Brown, Nick Gordon and Mike Mullen scored for the Firehawks and co-captain Matt Majic chipped in two assists.
For the Blaze, Micah Young scored and Matt Hatcher finished with 33 saves in goal.
The two teams meet again Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
