Blackhawk tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Beaver held on for a 4-3 victory.

Beaver made the score 4-2 on a goal by Alex Orndorf at 7:38 in the third period, and Blackhawk got as close as 4-3 when Timothy Stahoviak scored 10:02 into the third period.

Beaver's penalty kill excelled, as Beaver gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Beaver stifled Blackhawk's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Beaver's offense rang up 36 shots on Blackhawk's net. Beaver's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Beaver finished with 40 penalty minutes.

Others who scored for Beaver included Evan Komlenic, Michael Guido, and Antoni Chirgott, who scored one goal each. In addition, Beaver received assists from Brendon Davis, who had two and Noah Schultz, Ryan Hartman, Stelio Chirgott, and Asher Hanc0ckk, who contributed one each.

Blackhawk was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 18 penalty minutes.
