Blackhawk tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Beaver held on for a 4-3 victory.

Beaver's penalty kill excelled, as Beaver gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.
Beaver stifled Blackhawk's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Beaver's offense rang up 36 shots on Blackhawk's net. Beaver's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Beaver finished with 40 penalty minutes.
