Hounds sign young blueliner Kiel

The Midwest Junior Hockey League today announced its players of the week for the week ending Sunday, Feb. 8.
The awards are voted on by league coaches, general managers and league staff.
Goaltender of the Week – Jacob Mulka, Michigan Ice Dogs
Mulka played in one game last weekend, racking up 47 saves, including 32 over the final 40 minutes, as the Ice Dogs rallied to beat the Detroit Fighting Irish 6-3 last Saturday night.
The 1995-born Livonia, Mich., native also won Rookie of the Week honors on Nov. 4.
For the season, Mulka is 4-7-0 with a 4.78 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage.
