FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The Michigan Ice Dogs scored four goals in the third period to defeat the Detroit Fighting Irish 6-3 Saturday night at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena.

Marc Rotondo led the way with two goals and two assists, while Spencer Godin and Joe Russo also scored two goals apiece.

Kyle Cuthrell tacked on four assists and goaltender Jacob Mulka finished with 47 saves.

For the Fighting Irish, Tristan Cruz had a goal and an assist and Ken Winter and Christian Ramage added one apiece.

Detroit goaltenders George Hill and Austin Stefan combined to stop 33 shots.

The Ice Dogs next play on the road against the Motor City Monarchs at Fraser Hockeyland on Sunday, Feb. 15.
