He's back! After a month out with injury, Steve Brown will be back in the lineup this weekend, starting tonight when the Danbury Whalers visit the Berkshire Battalion. Steve last played on January 4th against the Danville Dashers.

    Brown is excited to get back in the lineup, and the Whalers will need his help. Danbury has lost 8 of their last 10 games, and having Steve Brown, one of the top defensive defensemen in the league, back in the lineup, should help relieve some pressure. "It's been frustrating the last month, watching the boys struggle, and having to watch from the stands instead of helping on the ice. I'm going to do my best to make as much of an impact as possible. I'm feeling good and ready to go."

    Steve has been on a career season offensively as well, topping his season record for goals (4 and counting) and is on pace to beat his season record for points, currently with 14, and 15 being his season record. His .118 shot scoring percentage is also a healthy boost from seasons past, and defensively, his game has been superb as always, with a +10 rating.
