Grimsby boosted by Currie's play in net, beats Dundas 4-1

Christian Gaetano had one point to lead the Grimsby Peach Kings to a 5-1 victory over the Port Dover Sailors.
Grimsby's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Port Dover power plays. Port Dover was unable to stop the Peach Kings from sending pucks towards the net, and Grimsby eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
Grimsby also got points from Garnet McComber, who also registered one goal and one assist. Matthew Jambrosich also scored for Grimsby. In addition, Grimsby received assists from Dillon Cipretti, Jeromy Hopkins, Andrew McMurtrie, and Curtis Jacques, who each chipped in one and Griffin Roubos and Brennan Smith, who contributed two each.
The Sailors' offense operated below their season average. Port Dover puts an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game.
Jeremy Currie rejected 21 shots on goal for the Peach Kings. Grimsby incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Matt Murphy made 32 saves for the Sailors on 37 shots. Port Dover incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Sailors ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Camden Freeman was ejected from the game.
