Hounds sign young blueliner Kiel

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. - The Traverse City Hounds used six different goal-scorers in a 7-2 win over the Michigan Ice Dogs at Centre ICE in front of nearly 600 spectators.
The game was actually tied 2-2 midway through the second period before the Hounds exploded for five unanswered goals.
Jacob Gillis scored two goals with an assist, Greg Meuser added a goal and two assists and Kevin Hansen pitched in a goal and an assist for the Hounds.
Jan Voves, Clayton Dowlan and Patrick Rogowski also scored to back David Krejcik’s 24-save outing in goal.
Scott Luca and Austin Flores added two assists apiece.
For the Ice Dogs, Marc Rotondo and Spencer Godin scored and Chris Boyd made 34 saves in goal.
The two teams meet again Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
