2015 will be a year of expansion for the NYCMBL, as league officials recently announced the creation of the brand new Premier League, which will begin play in April.

The Premier League will be a unique midweek alternative to the A and AA divisions already offered by the NYCMBL. With evening games at Taft High School from Monday to Friday, a MLB National League-style rulebook and a $4,000 cash prize to the winners, this new venture looks to usher in a new era of men’s baseball in New York City by attracting competitive teams looking for the purist baseball experience around.
