The Midwest Junior Hockey League today announced its players of the week for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 30.

The awards are voted on by league coaches, general managers and league staff.

Goaltender of the Week – Chris Boyd, Michigan Ice Dogs

A previous winner of this honor back on Nov. 18, Boyd played just one game last weekend, but made 47 saves in Michigan’s loss to Detroit on Friday night.

The 1994-born Boyd, a native of Chelsea, Mich., is now 4-5-0-3 on the year with a 3.52 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage.
