NFL Player's Association All-Star Game

NFL PLAYERS ASSOCIATION GAME TO BRING COLLEGE

ALL-STARS TO SAN ANTONIO

The NFL Players Association Game is a collegiate senior all-star football game that features top seniors with ties to the state of Texas taking on top seniors from across the Nation. The five-year-old all-star game is making its debut in San Antonio, Texas in 2011 after playing previous games in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.

  • The game attracts hundreds of NFL scouts and personnel and features draft-eligible seniors who are ranked in the top 10 in their position by the NFL.
  • Twenty-seven NFL Player Personnel Directors ranked this game the overall best college all-star game in front of the Senior Bowl and East West Shrine Game.
  • In the past four years, the game has seen over 400 of its players sign NFL contracts and promises to have the country’s most talented seniors again this year.
  • Dallas Cowboy legend Bill Bates will coach the Texas squad and former NFL head coach Jerry Glanville will lead team Nation.

Game day activities include appearances and autograph sessions with Dallas Cowboy Hall of Famer Randy White, Dallas Cowboy legends Everson Walls and Leon Lett and current Dallas Cowboys Tashard Choice, Alan Ball and Stephen McGee.

The halftime performance will be headlined by the award winning Texas Tech cheerleaders along with youth, high school and other collegiate cheerleaders from across the state of Texas.

The NFLPA Game: Texas vs. the Nation would like to invite all coaches, faculty and students to attend the game which will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Alamodome.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm CST.  It is the hope of the Player’s Association that students and athletes will attend the NFLPA Game and be inspired to work hard to become “all-stars” both on and off the field.
