Chris Peacock, who pitched on the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings this season, was signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates organization yesterday.  He was playing for the Wichita Wingnuts (American Association) when he was signed by the Pirates.

For the WhiteWings this season, Peacock was 5-2, with a 2.27 ERA.  He gave up 19 walks and registered 43 strikeouts.
