WATERTOWN, NY - The Watertown Wolves are pleased to announce that Justin MacDonald (featured in photo) has signed an agreement for the 2014-15 Federal Hockey League season.  The Newmarket, Ontario native joins the Watertown Wolves after a great three year stint in the SPHL, where he won a championship with the Pensacola Ice Flyers in 2012-13.  Justin registered 27 goals and 33 assists in the SPHL.  Watertown hockey fans will also remember Justin when he tallied 17 goals and 25 assists in just 29 games with the Privateers in 2012-13 before moving on to Pensacola.  “Justin will be a great fit for the Wolves.  He has tremendous speed and play making ability,” says head coach Brent Clarke.  “He will be an offensive leader and a fan favorite once again here in Watertown.”
 
In the hunt for the Commissioner’s Cup Championship, the Watertown Wolves proudly announce that power forward Phil Grainger has signed an agreement for the 2014-2015 hockey season.  The 6’7” Richmond Hill, Ontario native is back for his first full professional season with the Watertown Wolves.   Grainger competed in 9 games last season for the Watertown Privateers, scoring the overtime winner in his debut game versus the Danbury Whalers.  “We’re very glad to have Phil back for this upcoming season.  He has tremendous size and soft hands, and will be a big factor in the Wolves’ success in 2014-15,” says Head Coach Brent Clarke.  “I believe Phil has the ability to be a top 6 forward and an important part of our attack at even strength and on the power play.”  Opening night is October 17th versus the Danbury Whalers at Watertown Fairgrounds Arena, with puck drop at 7:35pm.
