RJ Going had three extra base hits as the Torrington Titans (27-24) took home an 11-7 victory over the Nashua Silver Knights (27-25) in eight innings at Holman Stadium on Wednesday.
He doubled in the first, seventh, and eighth innings.Carson Helms had a hot bat for the Nashua Silver Knights. Helms went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth innings.
Justin Robarge recorded his second win of the year for the Torrington Titans. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered one hit.
Travis Landry (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
The Torrington Titans were sparked by Jack St. Clair and Going, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
