Mark DeYoung came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as DeYoung reached on a in the eight to lead the Worcester Bravehearts (1-0) to an 8-4 win over the Pittsfield Suns (1-1) on Sunday at Wahconah Park.

Jordan Berry racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Worcester Bravehearts. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Charlie Butler pitched lights out for the Worcester Bravehearts. The Pittsfield Suns managed just one hit off of Butler, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
