Ryan Gendron knocked in four runs, helping the Seacoast Mavericks (22-26) to a 6-1 victory over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (19-30) on Saturday at Leary Field.
He homered in the third inning.Joan Pena got the win for the Seacoast Mavericks thanks to seven strikeouts. Pena allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over five innings.
Mekae Hyde was hot from the plate for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. Hyde went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.
Nate Boyle had an impressive outing against the Seacoast Mavericks' lineup. The Seacoast Mavericks managed just one hit off of Boyle, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.
Boyle (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
