The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (25-22) continued to pile up the runs on Thursday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 17-3 win over the Pittsfield Suns (24-22) at Wahconah Park.

The Marthas Vineyard Sharks scored four runs in the sixth on the Marthas Vineyard Sharks scored in the sixth on a two-run double by Will Toffey, a double by Jon Mayer, a sacrifice fly by Jack Roberts, a single by Brendan Cox, , and a single by Brian Campbell.

Campbell got a hit in each of his five at bats.

Soren Hanson struck out eight hitters en route to the the Marthas Vineyard Sharks win. Hanson allowed no earned runs, four hits and no walks over six innings.

Justin Finan (2-4) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked one and struck out none.

The Marthas Vineyard Sharks pounded the Pittsfield Suns pitching, as seven hitters combined for 18 hits, nine RBIs and 14 runs scored.
