The Brockton Rox had the lead early, but couldn't hold off the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. The Brockton Rox were ahead until the sixth inning, but the Marthas Vineyard Sharks would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on an RBI single by Matt Lavanchy.
Ryan Kelly reached base four times. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.
Matt Quintana kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the Brockton Rox batters. Quintana allowed one earned run on three hits and no walks over six innings.
Andrew David couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Brockton Rox, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
