The Marthas Vineyard Sharks scored in the third on a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Jack Roberts, an RBI single by Kevin Foley, an RBI single by Brian Campbell, a two-run double by Steve Buckley, a solo home run by Tim Bickford, and a two-run home run by Bickford.
Bickford racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks.
A bright spot for the Worcester Bravehearts in the defeat was David Montiverdi, who allowed only zero runs while striking out six.
Max Bruckner recorded his third win of the year for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered six hits.
