Alex Daley stood on his head and made 33 saves to lead Almonte Thunder to a 2-1 victory over Arnprior Packers.

The win by Almonte Thunder clinched the best of seven series at 4-2.

Almonte Thunder was sparked by Cameron Cornwall, who had one goal. Cornwall scored just over a minute into the third period to make the score 2-0 for the Thunder, Ben Wade assisted on the tally.

Almonte Thunder's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Arnprior Packers power plays. Almonte Thunder forced Arnprior Packers goalie Erik Miksik to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Liam Killeen also scored for Almonte Thunder. In addition, Almonte Thunder received assists from Andrew Rowbotham and Luke Martin, who contributed one a piece.

Arnprior Packers was led by Damian Armstrong, who scored the team's only goal. Armstrong scored 2:07 into the third period to make the score 2-1, John McLean and Jake Gaudet picked up the assists.
