Jeremy Wilson was all over the ice for Hampton Roads Whalers, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Hampton Roads Whalers' 5-1 win over Atlanta Junior Knights.

Wilson's tallies came at 12:15 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Hampton Roads Whalers and 15:29 into the second to make the score 3-0 Hampton Roads Whalers.

After the loss made the series score 1-0 in the best of three series, Atlanta Junior Knights faces elimination next time out.

Hampton Roads Whalers' penalty kill excelled, as Hampton Roads Whalers gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Hampton Roads Whalers stifled Atlanta Junior Knights' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Hampton Roads Whalers kept Atlanta Junior Knights' goalie busy throughout the game, and Joseph Roberts made 34 saves on 39 shots.

Hampton Roads Whalers also got points from Jonathon Arnaud, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Hampton Roads Whalers included Zachary McDaniel and Joseph Paul, who scored one goal each. In addition, Hampton Roads Whalers received assists from Marcus Cassidy, Ryan Piscotty, and Dimitri Tatrchenkov, who contributed one a piece.

Atlanta Junior Knights put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hampton Roads Whalers to score on any of its three power plays.

Atlanta Junior Knights also got a goal from Tanner Lindsey as well. More assists for Atlanta Junior Knights came via Tony Betolatti, who had one.

John Ketzenberger rejected 24 shots on goal for Hampton Roads Whalers. Hampton Roads Whalers incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Atlanta Junior Knights incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
