East Coast Eagles beats Hampton Roads Whalers 7-2 as Novin gets hat trick

Nick Novin netted a hat trick to lead East Coast Eagles over Hampton Roads Whalers, 7-2.

Novin's first goal came 1:14 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:27 into the first and at 13:43 into the second.

After the loss made the series score 1-0 in the best of three series, Hampton Roads Whalers faces elimination next time out.

East Coast Eagles forced Hampton Roads Whalers' goaltenders to work all game long, totaling 46 shots and forcing 39 saves. Taylor Brost made seven stops and Chase Wilson made 32.

East Coast Eagles also got points from Zac Keryluk, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Brock Martin, who also finished with one goal and two assists. East Coast Eagles also got a goal from Marcus Mazur as well. In addition, East Coast Eagles received assists from Ryan Flynn, who had three, Michael Bunn, who had four, and Connor McPherson and Anthony Ricciardi, who each chipped in one.
